Halle Institut for Economic Research (IWH)

Coorperation Partner IWH

The Master’s program in Empirical Economics and Policy Advice was designed in collaboration with the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH) - Member of the Leibniz Association. Students therefore get the unique possibility to apply there acquired knowledge in empirical methods within concrete practical projects. For example, students have the opportunity to do their practical project and workshops in the institute.

Employees of the IWH are, as lecturers, deeply involved in teaching, offer project seminars and also supervise students in IWH-internal internships.

The study program thus combines the faculty’s expertise in economic analysis and the practical skills of the IWH. This cooperation has proven to be extremely valuable for the students and is also reflected in the professional success of our graduates.
